Trump Lets 11-Year-Old Frank Mow White House Lawn

By Caleb Parke/Twitter

Eleven-year-old lawn service entrepreneur Frank Giaccio got to follow through on his offer to mow the White House lawn for free at the invitation of President Donald Trump.

Sanders announced earlier this week that “Frank from Falls Church, Virginia” would help the grounds crew cut the grass in the Rose Garden.

Trump accepted the Virginia boy’s offer after he wrote to the president saying it would be his “honor to mow the White House lawn.” Giaccio, who was 10 when he wrote the letter but has since turned 11, also enclosed a menu of his services, which include weed-whacking.

Giaccio told Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria” earlier Friday, “So far it’s pretty much the best day of my life.”

Sanders tweeted a photo of Giaccio taking care of business Friday morning, after she announced earlier this week that he would be taking his services to the White House.

“Frank is hard at work in the Rose Garden and doing a great job!” she wrote.

Then following his hard work on the lawn, Frank and his father, Greg, visited with President Trump in the Oval Office.

Let’s set aside politics for a moment and see this for what it is: The President of the United States made a little kid’s dream come true today!

Check out this interview Frank did with ABC News:

We learned a lot about his business and what his day was like at the White House. Frank’s business is a one-man-show with what he calls “two-and-a-half customers” and he charges $8 per lawn, which he waived for the president at his dad’s suggestion.

His highlight? “Both mowing the lawn and meeting the president.”

Also, he wants to be a Navy SEAL someday. Frank is quite the patriotic American!

In the words of President Trump, “Maybe he’ll be president.”
