The Todd Starnes Show had an all-star line up on Tuesday’s show which airs Monday through Friday 12-3 PM EST live on toddstarnes.com!
THE THIRD HOUR OF THE TODD STARNES SHOW:
We’ve got an all-star lineup on The Todd Starnes Show today: Newt Gingrich, Erick Erickson, and Senator James Lankford!
2:38 PM Senator James Lankford (R-OK): “We don’t criminalize people based on what they believe…since when is religious liberty a hateful thing?” Clearly, Alliance Defending Freedom is not a “hate group,” Senator Lankford says. He adds that you can say what you want in America, but news organizations and the federal government can’t shut people down based on what they say. You can read Sen. Lankford’s letter to ABC News here!
Producer Christine with the Naked Cowboy and other panhandling characters in Times Square:
2:15 PM The Naked Cowboy in Times Square (via Producer Christine and Intern Wes): “They need to enforce it if they want to make an issue out of it,” the Naked Cowboy told Todd. They pull ’em in and they demand a significant amount from them.
THE SECOND HOUR OF THE TODD STARNES SHOW:
1:10 PM Erick Erickson, Fox News Contributor & writer for The Resurgent:
Erickson says the proof of General Kelly’s success are in President Trump’s tweets. You can read his column here: The Reset Button: The Proof in the Tweets.
THE FIRST HOUR OF THE TODD STARNES SHOW:
12:30 PM Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House:
“After the New Yorker interview, [Trump] had no choice. It was a very powerful, direct move by General Kelly to show who’s in charge. ” Gingirch mentioned Laura Ingraham, Kellyanne Conway, and others from private sector PR firms as good replacements for White House communications director. Gingrich still has hope that Republicans can replace ObamaCare with several different bills that work with democrats.
This tweet from Ivanka Trump has MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” crew in a tizzy.

Another Day another Shakeup! Anthony Scaramucci is gone from his position as communications director because, the White House claimed in a Monday statement, Scaramucci “felt it was best to give Chief of Staff John Kelly a clean slate and the ability to build his own team.” The truth is more likely found in something Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in her Monday afternoon press briefing. “General Kelly has the full authority to operate within the White House, and all staff will report to him,” she said. That cuts against both Scaramucci’s public pronouncement that he answered to the president and the impression he left that his relationship with the Donald Trump was more personal and closer than the average White House aide. But as the New York Times reported, Kelly requested Scaramucci be let go, and that was that. What does this latest shakeup mean for the turbulent Trump White House?
12:05 PM Stand Up! Player protests of the National Anthem – such as when quarterback Colin Kaepernick took a knee in protest – are the number one reason sports fans watched fewer National Football League (NFL) games, a new survey shows. J.D. Power and Associates asked sports fans if they watched fewer NFL games last year – and, if so, why. Of those who tuned in less, here’s why they cut back on watching NFL games:
- National Anthem Protests: 26%
- NFL’s off-field image or game delays: 24%
- Too many commercials/advertisements: 20%
- Distracted by 2016 presidential race coverage: 16%
- Cancelled cable subscription: 5%
One in six fans (16%) said they cut back on watching NFL games in order to focus on the 2016 presidential election coverage. ESPN.com reports that viewership did, indeed, decline significantly more before the election than it did in the weeks following it, averaging an eight percent decline from last year:
A new survey says the reason why most Americans ditched the NFL last year was because of the National Anthem protests. I could’ve told you that for free! Call 1-888-788-9910 to weigh in!
Survey: Most Americans ditched the NFL last year b/c of the National Anthem protests. I could've told you that for free! CALL: 888-788-9910
