Todd Starnes Show Recap – Aug 15
The Todd Starnes Show had an all-star line up on Tuesday’s show which airs Monday through Friday 12-3 PM EST live on toddstarnes.com!
THE THIRD HOUR OF THE TODD STARNES SHOW:
More NFL players have decided to protest Old Glory and the national anthem. Todd says if you ride the bench during the national anthem – you should ride the bench during the game. Should players be forced to be patriotic? Call Todd now to discuss on air at 888-788-9910.
THE SECOND HOUR OF THE TODD STARNES SHOW:
1:20 PM Milwaukee County Sheriff, David Clarke:
“You hope for the best, but plan for the worst,” Clarke said of the protests and riots, adding that in Charlottesville they weren’t prepared. “This wimpy idea” that putting police in riot gear “looks too forceful.” I want people to know that “if you cross this line there will be consequences.” They do this to “keep the peace and prevent property damage.” Clarke calls for there to be a commission to handle the situation. “There’s no good guy in this.” You had hate versus hate. You cannot have those two groups come close to each other.”
1:05 PM – Hypocritical! As Charlottesville police and residents tried to piece together what led to the bloody events at a “Unite the Right” rally of white nationalists, there was the inescapable sense Sunday that the violence that left three dead and dozens injured was somehow different from previous incidents. The chaos that spread at the rally Saturdayinvolved dozens, not just some lone guy with a grudge. Charlottesville residents were asking whether the city and police had been properly prepared and could have prevented the deadly attack. Were the police told to stand down?
THE FIRST HOUR OF THE TODD STARNES SHOW:
12:10 PM Dinesh D’Souza, political filmmaker and commentator & author of the brand new book “The Big Lie: Exposing The Nazi Roots Of The American Left”.
D’Souza spoke of the history of Democrats and their connection to the Nazis and other communist regimes. You can get his book here at Amazon!
12:05 PM Should monuments honoring Civil War veterans and slaveholders be eradicated?
