DEVELOPING STORY: A UPS cargo plane crashed neared Louisville International Airport. Video from the crash site shows massive fire burning across a large swatch of land. A number of buildings are ablaze and several have been completely destroyed. There are multiple casualties.

The aircraft is believed to be a MD-11 and there were three crew members on board. The plane was bound for Honolulu and had a full load of fuel.

Speaker Mike Johnson Calls Crash Horrific

Speaker Mike Johnson issued a statement on X: “The UPS plane crash in Louisville is horrific, and we pray for the aircrew, their families, bystanders on the ground, and all involved in this tragic situation. We are grateful to the first responders who are on scene ensuring the safety of everyone in the area.”

  • UPS Flight Training Center
  • UPS Worldport Freight Facility
  • Stooges Bar & Grill
  • Grade-A Auto Parts
  • Quantum Ink
  • Central Farm Supply Kentucky.

Staffers at Stooges Bar & Grill posted a message on Facebook, “We were able to evacuate in time, and everyone made it out safely.”
