Democrats and the Mainstream Media are fuming after President Trump asked for the resignations of 46 U.S. attorneys.

Some are calling it a scandal — an attempt by the Trump Administration to shut down looming investigations.
But it’s not true.
In 1993 Attorney General Janet Reno fired every Republican U.S. Attorney — 93 – in a one-day sweep.
President Obama did the same thing in 2009 – he replaced nearly every U.S. Attorney appointed by President Bush.
There was no breaking news coverage — no breathless, Mainstream Media outrage.
That’s because it’s perfectly normal behavior. Nothing nefarious, folks.
Investigations and prosecutions will go on – and the moment a U.S. attorney leaves – a career prosecutor takes over — to stand in the gap.
So here’s the bottom line: President Trump had every right to ask for the resignations.
As for all of the faux-outrage from the Fake News regurgitators — it’s a load of Grade-A fertilizer — a variety so foul you can’t even grow a crop of butter beans.
