Dozens of Hollywood celebrities were spotted celebrating at the Super Bowl without wearing face masks. That’s an act of defiance against the Los Angeles County Health Dept. Masks are mandatory inside arenas. But most of the Super Bowl fans have chosen to defy the rules, too.
So if thousands of unmasked football fans can gather safely inside a football stadium, why can’t school children take off their masks inside classrooms?
My students all have to wear masks all day tomorrow, inside and outside of their classrooms because we are in LA County. Same place as the Super Bowl. But not a mask in sight here. pic.twitter.com/oVUzDznwOA

Los Angeles has an indoor mask mandate. This is the Mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti, at the Super Bowl. He is indoors. He is also maskless. Do not ever take these people seriously. pic.twitter.com/se1wNREdfk
