I was scrolling through Instagram, and at first I thought I was looking at my sister’s post, then realized it was one of the victims of the Manchester terrorist attack at an Ariana Grande concert. ISIS claimed responsibility for the massacre, according to Fox News.
With every attack from radical Islam, we’re reminded of just how sick and evil it is — this barbaric terrorist chose an event with mostly young, beautiful, innocent girls…daughters, sisters, best friends…it’s just pure evil.
“Horrific, horrific injuries. Terrible,” President Trump said. “Dozens of innocent people, beautiful young children savagely murdered in this heinous attack upon humanity.”
Immediately following the attack, friends and family started posting pictures of their loved ones on social media trying to help find them — it’s heartbreaking, not knowing if they are in the hospital or if they were one of the victims of the carnage.
I wanted to share just one of the many victims from the Manchester terrorist attack. Her name is Saffie-Rose Roussos. She was just 8 years old, and the headteacher from her school described her this way: “Saffie was simply a beautiful little girl in every aspect of the word. She was loved by everyone and her warmth and kindness will be remembered fondly. Saffie was quiet and unassuming with a creative flair.” She went to the concert with her mother and sister, who are both being treated in the hospital, according to the Guardian.
I agree with what Fox News radio host Todd Starnes wrote about this:
How many more times do we have to listen to breathless news anchors lecturing us about not rushing to judgment?
The Presbyterians and the Lutherans are not the ones strapping on backpacks filled with nails and blowing themselves up. The Methodists and Baptists aren’t beheading people. The Catholics are not flying jetliners into buildings.
So spare us the politically correct garbage.
How many more children must die at the hands of radical Muslims – slain in the name of the religion of peace?
How many more citizens of the world must be sacrificed to satisfy the bloodlust of these brutal savages?
How many more times, America? How many more times?
We pray for all those involved, for peace, healing, and comfort…and that every form of radical Islam would be wiped off the face of earth! Enough is enough!
