A crash sent two cars careening into a crowd of bystanders at a Memorial Day weekend event in Lincoln, Nebraska. At least two people were killed and 19 others were injured.
Initial reports indicate the incident occurred after a car reportedly ran a red light, struck another vehicle and the two cars hit the crowd, Fox News reports.
“We do not believe nor is there any evidence this was an intentional act,” Lincoln police said in a statement.
The accident appears to have taken place near the Americruise event, hosted by the Midwest Association of Car Enthusiasts (MACE).
