A billboard that attacked Hamas was taken down in Bogota, New Jersey after terrorist sympathizers apparently got triggered.
“Oh, don’t be naive,” the billboard read. “Hamas would chop your head off, too.”
It was erected by JewBelong, an organization that exposes and calls out Jew-hate across the nation.
The anti-Hamas billboard on Route 80 in Bogota Borough resulted in more than 100 calls to police before it was taken down by organizers, authorities told the New York Post.
The Bogota Police Department said there is nothing illegal about the sign.
“An organization has privately had the owner of the company post their message on the board and at this time there has been no criminal violations,” the police wrote on Facebook. “Our police department works closely with county, state and federal agencies to ensure the safety of our community. There have been no threats to our community and we are investigating the matter to ensure all community members remain safe.”
