DEVELOPING STORY: A subway train has derailed in Baltimore. There are reports of multiple injuries. Local news reporters say the train was above ground when it left the tracks.
“A car on its side with people trying to get out of it,” is how one first responder described the accident scene.
All rail traffic has been stopped and power has been cut in the area. There’s no word on how many injuries or what caused the train to derail.

Lakesha Smith’s brother was on the subway. Before being taken to the hospital by ambulance for a hand injury, he briefly came over to hug his sister.
