Chicago High School Has Segregated Lunch Space

A high school in the Chicago area has decided to continue holding a controversial segregated lunch space, according to The New Guard.

Evanston Township High School has a “racial equity” series that ironically segregates students by their race and sexual orientation.

It is part of the school’s “social consciousness agenda.”

One of the initiatives called “Qrunch” designated an “LGBTQIA+ lunch space” that was segregated for “queer” students and supervised by Quinton Clemons, who describes himself as a “proud queer educator.”

The memo from Monday’s school board meeting stated the lunch that segregated students based on sexual orientation was held on a trial period on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Another segregated lunch was held on Mondays for “black and brown students in the LGBTQIA+ community.”

Are schools radical indoctrination centers now?

The series also included a “radical reading team” and an “antiracist working group.”

The superintendent said the school will do the program again next year.

“We are encouraged by this year’s successes and are eager to continue this vital work next school year,” the district’s equity analyst wrote.

Nick Baker, a Young America’s Foundation author, pointed out, “It’s disappointing that Evanston Township High School feels that it’s appropriate to create divisions among its student body based on woke categorizations.”
