“Only a fool, or a Radical Left Democrat, would vote for this horrendous Border Bill, which only gives Shutdown Authority after 5000 Encounters a day, when we already have the right to CLOSE THE BORDER NOW, which must be done,” wrote President Trump on Truth Social. “This Bill is a great gift to the Democrats, and a Death Wish for The Republican Party. It takes the HORRIBLE JOB the Democrats have done on Immigration and the Border, absolves them, and puts it all squarely on the shoulders of Republicans. Don’t be STUPID!!!”
“We need a separate Border and Immigration Bill,” concluded Trump. “It should not be tied to foreign aid in any way, shape, or form! The Democrats broke Immigration and the Border. They should fix it. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
Senator James Lankford, the Republican from Oklahoma, says that his legislation is being intentionally misrepresented. But I’ve had a chance to read the bill – and the senator is being less than honest.
The bill would provide $60 billion to Ukraine, while only earmarking $650 million for the U.S. border wall. Why is Ukraine’s border more important than ours?
The Senate bill would also allow up to 5,000 illegals to walk across our border per day. That’s 1.8 million illegals a year.
Not only that – American taxpayers would cover the cost of immigration lawyers and fund radical immigration groups. It’s time for the American people to stand up.
Call you elected representative. Call your senators. Tell them to vote NO on the border bill.
