A medical helicopter crashed near a church in Philadelphia Tuesday afternoon injuring four people, including an infant, according to local reports.
The helicopter was on its way to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia when it crashed near the Drexel Hill United Methodist Church just before 1 p.m., Philadelphia’s FOX 29 reported.
The infant and others on board were rescued and their injuries are non-life-threatening.
“It’s an absolute miracle,” one official said near the crash site.
The child, who is a patient at the hospital, was rerouted. Officials are unsure of what caused the crash.
