151 months and counting for former reality TV star Josh Duggar.
The 34-year-old Duggar was sentenced Wednesday to 12 ½ years in prison for receiving and possessing child pornography.
The Washington Times says prosecutors wanted the maximum 20 years, saying Duggar has a “deep-seated, pervasive and violent sexual interest in children.”
The former TLC series “19 Kids and Counting” star was arrested in April 2021. This, after executing a search warrant on Duggar’s place of employment on November 20, 2019.
“They seized multiple electronic devices and pieces of evidence, including one video file that Special Agent Gerald Faulkner called “in the top five of the worst of the worst that I’ve ever had to examine,” said Arkansas tv station KNWA.

Duggar was found guilty on December 9, 2021.
“Mr. Duggar has had his day in court,” prosecutor Dustin Roberts told the jury. “Now it’s time to hold him accountable. It’s time to convict Josh Duggar.”
Duggar’s lawyers sought a five-year sentence.
The former reality TV star maintains his innocence and will appeal, the Associated Press reports.
