Caitlin Campbell, a Liberty University graduate who has over a million followers on TikTok, is going viral for serving coffee and helping the homeless.
She started Street Brew Coffee, a mobile coffee truck, in 2019 with her father, Ross Campbell, in Toronto, Canada.
But she fell in love with specialty coffee in Lynchburg attending the Christian university, and she uses the culture to bless others, calling all her customers “my friend” when she serves them.
“Coffee is a drink that creates community,” Caitlin told the Toronto Star. “People come together in a central place and come together out of a shared love for them. I realized how much life spends in a coffee shop, from job interviews to dating and making new friends.”
And the father-daughter duo is using their small business to help others.
“The mission of Street Brew has been to create a community of coffee lovers who support Street Brew and allow us to donate part of our proceeds to ending homelessness,” she told the Canadian outlet.
Campbell went to Liberty in 2016 to get her Master of Divinity degree where she suffered a traumatic brain injury while being an assistant coach for the women’s ice hockey team.
“It was a lot of time to focus on myself and my relationship with Christ, which was really cool because I got so much stronger in that season,” Campbell told LU News. “It was literally just me and Him. The way I experienced His grace firsthand was incredible.”
She hopes to open a permanent coffee shop in downtown Toronto someday to “employ people looking to transition out of homelessness” and “help provide them housing.”

“Our goal is to help them back into society by providing job skills, housing and a bank account.”
After Josh Lekach posted a video of hers, asking, “What is this phenotype? Nickelodeon and it’s consequences,” it was viewed over 28 million times.
Campbell responded, “Oh hey that’s me. I just love my job and want to make people smile. Oh and I make pretty amazing coffee.”
