The leaker of highly classified documents from the Department of Defense has been identified and is set to be arrested Thursday, according to multiple reports.

The person suspected of recently leaking classified U.S. government documents has been identified as Jack Teixeira, a 21-year-old member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard, two law enforcement officials said Thursday.
Officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation, said they have been onto him for some time and that an arrest is imminent.
The New York Times, citing interviews and documents, reported Teixeira shared classified files with the Discord channel called “Thug Shaker Central” where about 20 to 30 people shared their love of guns, racist memes, and video games.

Images of the documents reviewed by The Post indicate they are briefing slides that were photographed while laid out on a desk or table.
In at least two photographs, a brochure with apparent information about a rifle scope can be seen. In another photograph, a package of Gorilla Glue can be seen.

An Air National Guardsman suspected of leaking highly classified U.S. documents will be arrested on Thursday in Massachusetts, a source familiar with the situation told Reuters.
The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, did not elaborate.
The DOJ opened a formal criminal investigation last week after it was referred to the Pentagon.
