A University of Alabama football player shouted, “f*** Trump” as he prepared to take the field during the College Football Championship game in Atlanta.
Sporting News shared a video clip of the crude remark on Twitter. Sports Illustrated and USA Today identified the player as running back Bo Scarbrough.
Alabama media relations did not return messages seeking confirmation.
Quite frankly, the player should’ve been told to return to the locker room, turn over his uniform and leave the stadium.
This is not the National Football League. It’s the Southeastern Conference. We expect our football players to conduct themselves as men of honor.
