President Biden ordered that protective fencing be erected around the U.S. Capitol in advance of tonight’s State of the Union Address.
The fence is to presumably keep bad actors from trying to infiltrate the security perimeter. I don’t necessarily have a problem with that — especially with so many Islamic radicals lurking in our country.
We want to make sure that all of our elected leaders are protected from those who would do them harm. But the American people deserve to be protected as well.
“Under the Trump Administration, we built a wall to keep our country safe and secure,” Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-WI) said in a video address outside the perimeter. Under the Biden regime, they put fences up around the Capitol before the SOTU address while allowing an INVASION at our borders.”
Which is why many are wondering why President Biden is not building a fence along the southern border.
“If it weren’t for double standards, he’d have no standards at all,” said Rep. Mike Collins (R-GA).
Hundreds, if not thousands, of Americans have been victims of the illegals who have breached our borders. Laken Riley, the 22-year-old Georgia nursing student – is one of the most high profile victims of the Biden Administration.
If Biden can build a wall around the Capitol, he can build a wall along our southern border. No doubt the president deserves to be protected, but so did Laken Riley.
