Hello Americans. I’m Todd Starnes with news and commentary next.
Blue’s Clues, the popular television program for children, published a Gay Pride video featuring lesbian alligators, transgender beavers and non-binary dolphins.
Nickelodeon says the sing-along video for kids is part of its celebration of Gay Pride Month. You can watch the video below.
Nina West, a man who dresses like a woman, provided the voice for the video’s animated drag queen.
The cartoon features a parade of LGBT families — like two gay bears one of whom was wearing a feather boa.
The point is to convince children that families can have two mommies or two daddies or they can be asexual, bisexual or pansexual.
“All families are made differently and they love each other so proudly,” West warbles. “Allies to the queer community can love their queer friends so proudly. Love is love is love, you see, and everyone should love proudly.”
Pansexuality, by the way, has nothing to do with pots, pans or any other kitchen utensils.
The producer of the cartoon said it was a career highlight to create a pro-gay video for pre-schoolers.
The folks who originally created Blue’s Clues said the show was about helping to challenge and build the self-esteem of three year olds. Not confuse them.
Clearly, when it comes to the traditional family — Nickelodeon doesn’t have a clue.
