Breaking news, ladies and gentlemen, all four of the Teletubbies have been vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus.
The official Twitter account for the Teletubbies announced on Wednesday, July 7 that Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa, and Po are all vaxxed up!
“We’re all vaxxed! Just in time for a Tubby hot summer. Who’s ready to come out & play?” reads the caption to the public service announcement.
The show, which originally aired on the BBC in 1997, relaunched in 2015 for a modern audience, and fans quickly pointed out a major error in the tweet: their birth year is listed at 2003.

The writers/creators of the show have the right to take the characters in whatever direction they please. However, at the same time, they have to be prepared for any type of push-back or complaints they may receive from their fans.
