President Biden may be close to dropping out of the presidential election.
Axios is quoting top Biden aides as saying it’s not a matter of if, but when – and it could happen as soon as the weekend.
“The private message, distilled to its bluntest form: the top leaders of his party, his friends and key donors believe he can’t win, can’t change public perceptions of his age and acuity, and can’t deliver congressional majorities,” Axios reported. “The president is being told that if he stays in, former President Trump could win in a landslide and wipe away Biden’s legacy and Democrats’ hopes in November.”
The 81-year-old is now in self-isolation after being diagnosed with Covid. Video showed the feeble president struggling to climb the smaller stairs onto Air Force One. And ABC News provided real-time coverage of the president having trouble getting inside the presidential limousine.
Since the disastrous presidential debate, Biden has been in significant decline. He’s been prone to outbursts with members of his own party.
And during an interview with BET – he forgot the name of Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. Instead – calling him “the black man.” Watch below:
Biden tried to correct himself by saying the Defense Secretary was Ketanji Brown Jackson – which is incorrect – because she’s a Supreme Court justice.
Democrats fear they are on the verge of a political apocalypse – and will lose not only the White House, but also Congress. And that’s why Biden has to go – and go now.
“His choice is to be one of history’s heroes, or to be sure of the fact that there’ll never be a Biden presidential library,” one of the president’s close friends told us. “I pray that he does the right thing. He’s headed that way,” Axios reported.
There’s just one problem with the Democrat Party’s strategy.
