BULLETIN: Major Jury Issue Revealed in Trump Hush Money Trial

Late this afternoon – Judge Juan Merchan alerted President Trump’s attorney of a Facebook comment that was posted the day before the president was convicted.

A person posted a message claiming to be a cousin of one of the jurors. The individual said the juror told him Trump was going to be convicted. Now, this all reportedly happened before the jury official announced the verdict.

In a letter to Blanche, Judge Juan Merchan, acting state Supreme Court justice, recounted the controversial communication in a note also sent to the New York County District Attorney’s Office: “Today, the Court became aware of a comment that was posted on the Unified Court System’s public Facebook page and which I now bringing to your attention.

In the comment, the user, Michael Anderson, states: “My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted Thank you folks for all your hard work!!!!”

If this is true, it could have major implications in the case and raises the possibility of a mistrial. Again — lots of moving parts here.
