Country music star Zach Bryan has a new song out that has America First conservatives singing the blues. Bryan releasing a snippet of “Bad News” on his Instagram page. The song lyrics attack federal law enforcement agents.

“Didn’t wake up dead or in jail
Some out of town boys been giving us hell
I got some bad news
I woke up missing you
My friends are all degenerates but they’re all I got
The generational story of dropping the plot
I heard the cops came
Cocky motherfucker ain’t they?”

Bryan also turned his wrath on Immigration Customs Enforcement officers. He also said that the red, white and blue is fading.

“And ICE is gonna come, bust down your door
Try to build a house no one builds no more
But I got a telephone
Kids are all scared and all alone
The Boss stopped bumping, the rock stopped rolling
The middle fingers rising and it won’t stop showing
I got some bad news
The fading of the red, white and blue”

He turned off the comments to his Instagram post – so his nearly five million fans are voicing their displeasure elsewhere. The Washington Post reports that fan reaction has been mostly negative.

“Thank you for using your talent and standing up for what’s morally correct,” one Instagram account wrote.

Another user commented, “Didn’t know Zach was an illegal sympathizer,” referring to immigrants without legal status in the United States.

“Good luck with the new fan base,” one user said.

Bryan has stirred up trouble in the past – defending transgender activists – says he’s more libertarian than liberal.

Country music star John Rich says there are plenty more liberals lurking in country music and suggested that Bryan team up with the Dixie Chicks on a tour sponsored by Bud Light.

“Nashville is full of guys like this,” Rish said.

It’s sad what’s happened to the country music industry. Gone are the days of Hank Williams and good old redneck boys. They’ve been replaced by Hollywood soy boys with spray-on tans.

I wrote a book about this several years ago and quoted one such executive who said there was no place in country music for Bible-believing, flag-waving, truck-driving patriots. Click here to read “Twilight’s Last Gleaming.”
