Daily Beast Reports Diamond & Silk Out at Fox News

The Daily Beast reports that Diamond and Silk have been booted out the door at Fox News Channel.

Lynette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson were national superstars in their own right before they joined the Fox Nation digital media platform.

“Fox News Severs Ties With Offbeat Personalities Diamond and Silk,” read the headline in Variety.

Neither Fox News nor the sisters have commented publicly about the report. As of this writing, leftist Donna Brazile is still employed by the network.

“The sudden split comes after the Trump-boosting siblings have come under fire for promoting conspiracy theories and disinformation about the coronavirus,” the leftist website reported.

“After what they’ve said and tweeted you won’t be seeing them on Fox Nation or Fox News anytime soon,” a source with knowledge of the matter told The Daily Beast.

The Trump campaign released a statement to the Hollywood Reporter praising the conservative activists.

“Diamond and Silk are tremendously valued supporters of President Trump,” a campaign spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter on Monday night. “They fight for the President and are continued valued members of Team Trump.”

Media Matters, an anti-Fox hate group that peddles in all sorts of lies and distortions, celebrated the news.

“Diamond and Silk were fired for something that others at Fox News do all the time: peddle dangerous public health misinformation and recklessly shill partisan lies,” Media Matters president Angelo Carusone said in a statement. “But Fox News’ obscene double standards aside, the abrupt termination of Diamond & Silk, much like with Trish Regan, illustrate the precarious position that Fox is struggling to navigate as they seek to renew or expand 65% of their cable subscriber fees contracts (the overwhelming source of their revenue).

I have deep respect for Diamond and Silk and they will always be welcome on The Todd Starnes Radio Show. Our team proudly stands alongside these dear sisters in the Lord.
