The Democratic Party of Orange County is demanding that John Wayne’s name be removed from the regional airport.
“Orange County is now a diverse region far different from the time when John Wayne was chosen as namesake,” the California Democrats said in a statement. “The removal of racist symbols provides a necessary process for communities to remember historic actors of violence and recognize victims of oppression.”
The Orange County Democrats are what I call Culture Jihadists. They have declared a fatwa on cherished American icons and heroes. I consider John Wayne to be both.

This man’s sole crime is that he loved America and hated Communism.

“There have been numerous calls to remove John Wayne’s namesake from Orange County’s airport because of Wayne’s white supremacist, anti-LGBT, and anti-Indigenous views,” the Democrats charged.
They referenced a 1971 Playboy interview when Wayne said, “I believe in white supremacy” and “I don’t feel guilty about the fact that five or 10 generations ago these people were slaves.”
“The Democratic Party of Orange County condemns John Wayne’s racist and bigoted statements, and calls for John Waynes’ name and likeness to be removed from the Orange County airport,” they said.
As I wrote in “Culture Jihad,” they will not stop until every American icon is destroy and turned into a heaping pile of rubble.
“I define manhood simply: men should be tough, fair, and courageous, never petty, never looking for a fight, but never backing down from one either,” John Wayne once said.
America would do well to embrace that sentiment as we battle the culture jihadists.
