The Democrat Party is in a bit of hot water. They accused President Trump of glorifying white supremacy at a July 4th event at Mount Rushmore.
“Now he’s holding a rally glorifying white supremacy at Mount Rushmore — a region once sacred to Tribal communities,” the DNC’s official Twitter account posted.
The president is scheduled to attend a fireworks display at the national landmark – honoring George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.

All four former presidents have been targets of Black Lives Matter protesters – demanding that statues and monuments in their honor be torn down.
“If you support America’s founding and our heroes throughout our history you’re now ‘glorifying white supremacy’? This is insane, historically illiterate nonsense. When will Joe Biden condemn his own party’s hatred of America?” wrote GOP spokeswoman Elizabeth Harrington.
The DNC later deleted the tweet.
What’s really puzzling is why anyone would think shooting off fireworks at Mount Rushmore is akin to white supremacy.
There have actually been calls from the left to blast the faces of all four presidents from the face of the mountain.
But South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem said that’s never going to happen – especially under her watch.
“This is no longer about equality,” Noem told “Fox & Friends.” “This is a radical rewriting of our history and in South Dakota we won’t stand for it.”
She says the attacks on American monuments is no longer about equality it’s about a radical rewriting of history.
Well said, governor.
