Vice President Kamala Harris issued a tweet on Saturday calling for Americans to “enjoy the long weekend.”
Words uttered by a truly ignorant and ungrateful politician.
It’s not a long weekend, ma’am. It’s Memorial Day. It’s the day American pause to remember and honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for freedom.
“This weekend is our time as a nation to honor our Fallen. It is our dedicated time to reflect on our war fighters, those who paid the ultimate price for our Freedom,” Code of Vets wrote on Twitter.
Do better, Madame Vice President. Or better yet, just muster up the decency to show a little respect.
