A number of high-profile religious leaders have expressed grave issues with the RNC’s decision to remove the pro-life issue from the scaled-down platform.
“I think it calls for an urgent gathering of those who are responsible for the plank,” Carson said on Newsmax. “They need to talk about the pro’s and cons. They shouldn’t just unilaterally do something of this magnitude.”
This is incredibly important to millions of Americans, Carson said.
“It’s good to have your belief system there and not to be afraid. America is ready for a revival. the people see what is happening to us as we have lost our faith – as we have thrown away our morals. We are spiraling downward.”
Carson said he would “like to see the discussion had and perhaps finding language that would satisfy both sides.”
