One woman in New York seems to have all she could possibly take from young antagonists calling her a bigot for standing up for the country’s history.
The viral interaction occurred outside New York’s famed Natural History Museum, which is the latest target for the “peaceful protesters.” They want the statue of President Teddy Roosevelt toppled because, in part, it has him riding a horse while an African man and a Native American man walk next to him. The New York Post reported that the statue was in place there since 1940.

Protests have broken out there, which included a gathering on Sunday that included a tense interaction between a protester in favor of keeping the statue who was confronted by an aggressive counter-protester who charged at the woman and said, “Check your f—ing privilege and get back over there.”

The irony that counter-protester, a young man wearing an American University t-shirt, shouted the order to the woman to get back in line was not lost on social media. But the woman looked as though she could handle herself against the “little boy.”
“Woah, Who are you talking to?” the woman asked, while a few men got between them. “You got something to say, little boy?”
The counter-protester said, “I think you guys represent something very bad.”

“Learn your history,” the woman said. “If you learned your history you wouldn’t be a radical.”

Another voice from the background, said to the counter-protester: “You went to American University? Bro, that’s horrible, America was founded on stolen land, you bigot!”
Another protester said it was obvious the counter-protester didn’t know how to respond, so the counter-protester said, “What do you mean I don’t know what to say? You’re bigots. You don’t understand the constitution.”
“Is that the best you’ve got, darling boy?” the woman said. “Is that the best you got, baby boy?”
The woman later said that the protesters were trying to make the Roosevelt statue racial issue.
“This is not about race anymore,” she said. “It never really was. This is about taking apart the fabric of America.
The woman was applauded by many on social media for standing up to the man. Many conservatives have said they’ve reached a boiling point and are tired of being preached to by the ignorant youth in the country who seem intent on living in a permanent college campus.
PJ Media summed up the interaction and said the protester had “no comeback. When called out on that, another person in the crowd accuses the woman of “intimidating” antifa — which operates entirely on intimidating everyone else into silence and obedience. Woman 1, Antifa 0. They can be resisted, with some backbone.”
