FROM THE ARCHIVES: A story that was first reported several years ago has once again gone viral on social media. A CBS News reporter in Atlanta was viciously attacked by Denny’s workers when he showed up to report on why the restaurant failed a health inspection. Watch video of the attack below.
The reporter is white and all of his attackers are black. Why is this important? Well, it’s not. But if white staffers had attacked a black reporter the Legacy Media would’ve made this a national news story. And that’s why I share stories like this – to illustrate the racial hypocrisy in America’s woke newsrooms.
The Denny’s, in Lithonia, Georgia, had been cited by the health department for serving expired deli meat. The restaurant was also filled with flying insects. Inspectors also discovered raw eggs on bacon and cheese.
CBS46 photographer Dimitri Lotovski and reporter Adam Murphy were beaten, smacked and punched by multiple staffers — including one who vowed to “knock yo ass out.”
“Is that how you talk in front of your son,” the stunned reporter asked as a toddler stood nearby.
The reporter and his photographer were extremely polite even though they were attacked by the staffers. At one point, two of the staffers physically removed the journalists from the building.
Denny’s released a statement apologizing for the actions of their staffers:
“We are disappointed by the inappropriate and unacceptable behavior by employees at our restaurant in Lithonia, Georgia earlier this week. As a family dining restaurant, Denny’s expects the highest ethical and personal behavior from our team members, and we do not tolerate this type of behavior. We have spoken to the franchisee at this location and he has taken immediate action to ensure the restaurant meets our high brand standards and has taken appropriate action with employees.”
It sounds like the folks around Lithonia would be better off preparing bacon and eggs at home — unless you enjoy a side order of listeria with your “Moons Over My Hammy.”
