Giant’s Pitcher: I Will Not Bow Down to Black Lives Matter

There are very few men of courage and conviction in Major League Baseball — but Sam Coonrod is one of those guys.

Sam is a second-year reliever for the San Francisco Giants.

He was confronted by NBC News after a recent game because he did not take a knee to show his allegiance to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Sam politely told the reporter that he is a Christian man and “can’t kneel before anything besides God.”

He also has some problems with the ideology of the BLM movement.

“How they lean toward Marxism and they’ve said some negative things about the nuclear family. I just can’t get on board with that.”

Brave man. Courageous man.
