Huckabee Suggests New Name for Redskins: “The Elizabeth Warrens”

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee generated lots of laughter on The Todd Starnes Show today by suggesting some new names for the Washington Redskins.

“I don’t care what they call the Redskins so long as the Cowboys keep beating them,” he said. “Here we have a team that’s been around for a hundred years and suddenly it becomes offensive.”

But in the spirit of “woke” America, the governor suggested a few monikers:

• DC Deep-Staters
• Beltway Bandits
• Washington Felons

But ultimately, he decided on calling them the “Elizabeth Warrens.”

“That way they would be in keeping with their Native American theme,” he said.
