A brand new children’s book is promoting the false notion that men can give birth to babies. “In My Daddy’s Belly” is written by Logan Brown, a woman who thinks she is a man.
“It took me ages to get to this point of being confident of who I am now, in being a pregnant man,” she said. “I spent so much time feeling shame [about being pregnant as a man] and something clicked and I thought, ‘No I’m going to own this, I’m a pregnant man’ and we’re going to do what we’re doing.”
Men cannot give birth to babies, period.
And if you are a man and you might be feeling bloated or you might feel like you are in labor, just take a swig of Pepto-Bismol. You aren’t pregnant, but you may have had a bad experience at Taco Bell.
