Thousands of freedom-loving patriots staged massive protests across the state of California from the beaches of Orange County to the capitol building in Sacramento.
The protesters were demanding that Democrats restore their civil liberties and release citizens from what is a de facto house arrest.

In Sacramento protesters waved signs that said “Defend Freedom” and broke into “U-S-A” chants, the Associated Press reported. A small plane circled overhead, displaying a banner carrying an image of Newsom’s face and the slogan, “End his tyranny.”
“I’m really fed up with what’s going on,” said Joe Ranciato, 58. “I don’t like my freedom to be put in jeopardy.”
The AP estimates there were about a dozen organized rallies in cities including Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco.
Thousands turned out in Orange County — massing at public beaches that were ordered to be closed by Gov. Gavin Newsom – a Democrat.
People waved American flags from their car windows and carried signs reading “Open Cali now,” the AP reported. A plane buzzed overhead with a sign reading “Fire gruesome Newsom! Open California.”
