DEVELOPING STORY: Violent mobs are rioting in Los Angeles and across Southern California in response to ICE agents conducting a roundup of illegal aliens. The mobs are hurling rocks at ICE agents, setting fires and physically attacking officers.
Eyewitnesses say it looks like a war zone with explosions and smoke everywhere. LAPD is reporting a small group of violent individuals is throwing large pieces of concrete.
“These protesters were assaulting our officers out there writing, kill ICE, throwing things at them, attacking federal buildings, and perpetuating violence,” DHS Secretary Kristi Noem told Fox News.
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass all but declared an insurrection and urged her citizens to fight back.
“As Mayor of a proud city of immigrants, who contribute to our city in so many ways, I am deeply angered by what has taken place. These tactics sow terror in our communities and disrupt basic principles of safety in our city. My Office is in close coordination with immigrant rights community organizations,” she said. We will not stand for this.”

The White House fired back and reminded the mayor that the people being arrested are illegal alien invaders.
“You have no say in this at all,” White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller posted on X. “Federal law is supreme and federal law will be enforced.”
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino condemned the violence and said attackers will be held accountable.
“The Right to assemble and protest does not include a license to attack law enforcement officers, or to impede and obstruct our lawful immigration operations,” Bongino said. “We are thoroughly reviewing the evidence from yesterday’s incident in Los Angeles and we are working with the US Attorney’s Office to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice. The days of chaos ruling the streets are over. Either obey the law, or go to jail, there’s no third option.”
