NPR, also known as National Public Welfare Radio, denounced the Declaration of Independence on of all days — Independence Day.
The taxpayer-assisted radio network has a tradition of staffers reading the Declaration on the Fourth of July. But this year, NPR added a warning:
(Editor’s note: Contains a racist slur against Indigenous people) and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.)
They wasted little time savaging one of our most cherished documents.
“In this thread of the Declaration of Independence, you can see a document with flaws and deeply ingrained hypocrisies. It also laid the foundation for this country’s collective aspirations — the hopes for what America could be,” NPR said.

The pro-Marxist propaganda machine then went on to list a litany of grievances they have with our Founding documents.
“245 years ago today, leaders representing 13 British colonies signed a document to declare independence. It says “that all men are created equal” — but women, enslaved people, Indigenous people and many others were not held as equal at the time,” NPR said.
“The document also includes a racist slur against Indigenous Americans. Author David Treuer, who is Ojibwe, says there is a lot of diversity of opinion and thought among Native Americans — a community of more than 5 million people — about the document’s words,” the network stated.
They conveniently failed to mention that in the effort to make a more perfect union that the slaves were freed and women are treated as equals to men. But why quibble with facts?
When Republicans retake the House of Representatives in 2022 one of the first items on the agenda should be the defunding of NPR.
I own KWAM News Radio 107.9 FM, 990 AM in Memphis. We are a locally-owned, locally-run news talk station. We proudly proclaim that we are the conservative blowtorch for the Mid-South.
As a radio station owner I find it grossly offensive and deeply un-American that my tax dollars are going to keep the lights on at a competitor’s business.
If NPR wishes to spew anti-American propaganda, let them do so on their own dime, not mine.
