NYC Firefighters Ordered to Remove 9/11 Memorial

New York City firefighters were ordered to remove a “red line” flag from a fire truck.

Ladder Company 11 had posted the flag to memorialize their fellow firefighters who had died in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. DC Draino, a popular X page, first reported the news.

“A politician in Alphabet City came by the fire house and confronted NY’s bravest for having the flag on their rig stating, ‘Isn’t that flag in support of the police?’ They explained to him that it’s been on their rig for years and it’s a part of our 9/11 Memorial as the flag flies next to their fallen brothers,” he wrote. “The politician contacted city officials and demanded it be taken down.”

The following day a division chief with the FDNY showed up and told them the flag had to come down.

Did you ever imagine a time when New York City firefighters would be forced to take down a memorial for those who died on 9/11?

Fortunately, after a massive outcry, the flag was restored to the fire truck.

“When we raise our voices and fight back, we win,” DC Draino wrote on X.

Just a few weeks ago a teenager in the heartland was ordered by a school administrator to remove an American flag from his pickup truck. But the young man refused and the following day dozens of his classmates showed up at school with American flags posted on their vehicles.

First in the heartland and now in New York City.

The Communists are coming after Old Glory. And as I wrote in my new book, “Twilight’s Last Gleaming,” it’s up to every freedom-loving American to ensure we can still see those broad stripes and bright stars.

Do you believe there is a war on American traditions?
