NYC Teens Brutally Beat Man For Wearing Make America Great Again Hat

A New York City man tells Fox 5 he was brutally beaten by a large group of teenagers because he was wearing a “Make America Great Again” ball cap.

Jahangir Turan said a group of about 15 “kids” yelled “F*** Trump” and stomped on him Tuesday night on Canal Street.

The New York Daily News reports the man was unable to identify his attackers because it happened so fast.

“They beat me up for wearing the hat,” Turan told the newspaper. “They were saying ‘Why are you wearing that?’ One girl flipped the hat off my head, and I tried to grab it. Then they came after me. One guy grabbed me from behind and slammed my head against a metal post.”

The NYPD confirmed to NBC New York that the assault happened, but no arrests have been made.
