NYT WRITER: “Pence and his coronavirus emergency team praying for a solution. We are so screwed.”

Vice President Mike Pence has been mocked by Hollywood and the Mainstream Media after he led the coronavirus task force in a moment of prayer.

“While some are taking solace in the thought that this administration—which disbanded the CDC pandemic team in 2018—performatively prays for the camera, this is a chilling window into their actual epidemiological unpreparedness and incompetence,” he wrote.

Since the early days of our nation our government leaders have petitioned the Almighty for divine wisdom and guidance. The fervent prayers of a righteous man avail much, the Bible tells us.

Franklin Graham called the image a “touching and powerful photo.”

“Thank you VP Pence and each one who is serving. Let’s join them in asking God for His wisdom, direction, & help in the response to this virus,” Graham wrote on Twitter.
