DEVELOPING STORY: The massive spending bill presented by House Republican leaders is filled with millions of dollars in funding for LGBT organizations — including $845,000 for gay garden parties.

The House Freedom Caucus has discovered that the spending bill provides millions of dollars in funding to a number of LGBT groups. They are urging all Republican lawmakers to reject the bill.

“A massive spending bill drafted in secrecy and dropped on us in the middle of the night is being rushed to the House floor for a vote with less than 36 hours to review,” the caucus wrote on X.
They also uncovered millions of dollars to fund late term abortions in several New England states, including $1.8 million for a hospital that performs late-term surgical and chemical abortions.
The American people, including Catholics and Evangelicals will now be expected to subsidize late term abortions.
“Is Pelosi in charge,” the House Freedom Caucus wondered.
Also in the spending bill is $156,000 for the Hartford Gay & Lesbian Health Collective in Connecticut. They call themselves a “champion of LGBTQIA+ equity” with trainings on “LGBTQ+ Cultural Competency” and “Accessing Healthcare for LGBTQ+ Youth.”
“It is total lack of backbone, total lack of leadership and a total failure by Republican leadership,” Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) told Steve Bannon. “I don’t even have words for any Republican that votes for this bill. I promise you I will not be going out and supporting any Republican who votes for this bill for any position, ever again.”
If Colorado gays want to host garden parties, they can buy their pansies and Cosmopolitans with their own credit cards.
