A commercial jetliner had a near collision with a UFO near New York. The Pentagon says the airline crew reported to the Federal Aviation Administration that the object was like a cylinder in shape.
The UFO was spotted over the Atlantic Ocean off the New York coastline.
The Defense Department’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office is still investigating the incident.
The Pentagon published a report this week alleging there have been more than 16 hundred UFO cases identified between 2023 and 2024.
There was a time when such stories were relegated to late night radio shows. But over the past few years members of Congress have called for hearings and investigations – to determine if ET may be trying to phone home.
Now, several hundred of the reported UFOs turned out to be drones, balloons and birds.
But there are other reports – more than 700 – that raise serious questions about what might be lurking in our skies.
Jon Kosloski heads up the All Domain Anomaly Resolution Office. He says the threats must be treated seriously and investigated with scientific rigor.
“It is also important to underscore that, to date, AARO has discovered no verifiable evidence of extraterrestrial beings, activity, or technology,” Kosloski told CNN. “None of the cases resolved by AARO have pointed to advanced capabilities or breakthrough technologies.”
