Thousands of delegates rose to their feet and gave former President Trump a thunderous and sustained welcome to the Republican National Convention Monday night.
Lee Greenwood sang a live rendition of his hit song, “God Bless the USA” as the president entered the arena.
President Trump’s ear was covered with a bandage – the only evidence of the shooting that nearly took his life.
The president appeared to be a bit emotional as he took his seat alongside his family as well as Vice Presidential-nominee J.D. Vance.
“Fight! Fight! Fight,” the crowd chanted, echoing the chant he uttered just after surviving the assassination attempt on Saturday. The crowd also chanted, “We love Trump! We love Trump!” Watch below and click here to join my private Facebook group for Conservatives.
