Sheriff Vows to Deputize Every Law-Abiding Gun Owner to Battle Anarchists

The sheriff of Clay County, Florida has a warning for Black Lives Matter and any other sort of Marxist who might try and cause trouble: don’t come to our neck of the woods.

Sheriff Darryl Daniels said he will not tolerate lawlessness in Clay County.

“You can threaten all you want,” the sheriff said to would-be agitators on a viral Twitter video. “But you’ll have something waiting on you that you don’t want.”

The sheriff said he would protect their constitutional rights to peacefully protest – but there will not be any autonomous zones in Clay County.

“The second that you step out from up under the protection of the Constitution, we’ll be waiting on you,” he said. “And we’ll give you everything you want. “All the publicity. All the pain. All the glamour and glory for that five minutes will give you.”

Enough is enough, Sheriff Daniels said.

And if his deputies cannot handle the rampaging horde, he said he would make special deputies of every lawful gun owner in Clay County.

“I’ll deputize them for this one purpose – to stand in the gap between lawlessness and civility,” he said. “That’s what we’re sworn to do and that’s what we’re going to do. You’ve been warned.”
