President Biden was filmed wandering away from the G7 group during a gathering today. As the world leaders applauded skydivers, Biden just wandered away. Perhaps he saw a squirrel or another woodland creature? Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni was seen grabbing Biden to bring him back to the group. Thank you, Prime Minister Meloni. Had it not been for the quick thinking of the prime minister, we might have had to issue a Silver Alert.
Seriously, though, Biden’s behavior was incredibly troubling, according to The Sun newspaper. Attendees from multiple delegations have described to the newspaper Biden’s performance incident as troubling.
“The 81-year-old has been “losing focus” during the gathering of world leaders in Puglia, Italy, according to well placed diplomatic sources,” the newspaper reported. “It’s the worst he has ever been”.
The Sun also reported that while the president had shown moments of sharpness and clarity during meetings, at other times he had appeared to be “losing focus” and concentration.
