So Now The Anarchists Want to Delete the Star-Spangled Banner

As I warned you in my new book, “Culture Jihad: How to Stop the Left From Killing a Nation,” there is a clear and present danger to the United States of America. A generation of American young people have been radicalized in our public schools.

They have been brainwashed to believe that America is evil, that our Founding Fathers were racists, that people should be judged by the color of their skin.

Make no mistake. We are at war against an army of fascists, secularists, socialists and Marxists. They want to destroy our nation. Click here to read my book.

In recent days the domestic terrorists have toppled statues and desecrated monuments. Now, they are targeting the national anthem.

Lyndsey Parker, the editor of Yahoo Music, wrote a column titled, “Why it might be time to finally replace ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ with a new national anthem.”

She interviewed activist Kevin Powell who suggested that Francis Scott Key was a racist and the song he wrote is riddled with violence.

“So, if “The Star-Spangled Banner” goes the way of the Confederate flag and Gone With the Wind, what should America’s new national anthem be? Whatever it is, Walker says there should be a formal “vetting process” to make sure the next anthem doesn’t have a terrible past; Powell, for his part, suggests John Lennon’s “Imagine,” which he says is ‘the most beautiful, unifying, all-people, all-backgrounds-together kind of song you could have,'” she wrote.

Last week, protesters in San Francisco toppled a statue of Key and there are growing cries around the nation to replace the anthem.

A semi-professional soccer team in Oklahoma announced they were dropping the anthem in favor of Woody Guthrie’s “This Land is Your Land.”

The Athletics are part of the National Premier Soccer League. The team says they dropped The Star Spangled Banner to create a more inclusive environment. They also said the national anthem is racially insensitive.

The Tulsa Athletics say  ‘This Land Is Your Land’ not only captures a powerful patriotic sentiment, but that it does so in a far more inclusive way.

It’s an interesting decision – because Woody Guthrie was reportedly a vocal supporter of Communism and was sympathetic to their causes. NPR claims that “This Land is Your Land” was written as a Marxist response to “God Bless America.”

Ironically, Lennon described “Imagine” as a Communist manifesto.

“Lennon himself described’“Imagine’ as ‘virtually the Communist Manifesto, even though I am not particularly a communist and I do not belong to any movement…. But because it is sugarcoated, it is accepted.’ Released as a single in the U.S. in the fall of ’71, ‘Imagine’ went to Number Three on Billboard’s Top 100 chart. ‘Now I understand what you have to do,’ Lennon noted. ‘Put your political message across with a little honey,'” Rolling Stone reported in 2001.
