Hello Americans, I’m Todd Starnes. Stand by for news and commentary next.
Newschannel 9 in Chattanooga, Tennessee reports that a student was asked to remove a Trump flag from the bed of his pickup truck.
Never thought I would hear something like that happening in the Volunteer State.
But, it did.
Bradley Central High School in Cleveland.
Jordan Zachman said he was escorted to his truck and compelled to remove the flag. He said a school official told him the flag was offending people.
The school district released a statement that sort of confirmed the student’s story – they said they respect everyone’s rights to free speech.
But they said there were some questions raised regarding political flags. The school did not reveal the nature of the questions. But they said the student’s rights were not restricted.
Well, that’s good news.
But the even better news is what happened the next day – when a number of other students showed up flying American flags and Trump flags – an entire row in student parking filled with patriotic pickup trucks.
Because that’s how we roll in Tennessee.
