Alliance Defending Freedom senior counsel Tyson Langhofer told the Todd Starnes Radio Show Vlaming has not been able to find another teaching job since the firing despite being beloved by students and being an award-winning educator.

“He went out of his way to treat this student with respect and said ‘I won’t use a pronoun you don’t like. I’ll just call you by your name,'” Langhofer said.

“He was not discriminating this student…but unfortunately, the school didn’t respect him. Tolerance is a two-way street,” he added.
