Tim Walz: Stolen Valor on the Battlefield and Football Field

There’s been a lot of talk about the resume of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz. Democrats portray him as a Midwestern dad who wear flannel, drinks beer and goes deer hunting.

Walz was picked in large part because the Democrat party has a big problem – specifically – a lack of testosterone.

So they thought Coach Walz would solve that problem – the high school teacher who coached football. He also built sets for the high school theater kids and served as a faculty advisor to the gay student alliance.

But it’s his record as a high school coach that is really causing controversy. He portrays himself as the guy responsible for turning an 0-27 team to state champions.

But the truth is – Coach Walz was not the head coach. He was the assistant coach – an important nugget that is left out of his political narrative.

Some might call them half truths – like the controversy surrounding the governor’s military status.

Regardless, stolen valor on the football field and the battlefield is not a good look for Democrats.
