President Trump and the First Lady were welcomed with thunderous cheers and applause when they entered the sanctuary of The Family Church, a Southern Baptist congregation in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The First Family attended the church’s Christmas Eve Candlelight service.
The official White House pool report did not mention the warm reception the president received from those in the worship center. Video of the moment was removed from Facebook and other digital websites.
Pastor Jimmy Scroggins and his wife welcomed President Trump and the First Lady prior to the service.
It was our pleasure to have @realDonaldTrump and @FLOTUS join us for worship this evening. First time I’ve ever met them. They were both extremely gracious, participated in the entire service, and stayed through the end. Always glad to make a big deal about Jesus! https://t.co/WMzJWv6bms

The pastor shared a traditional Christmas message about the birth of Jesus and presented the plan of salvation.
“There was no Secret Service,” the pastor said to laughs as he referenced the birth of Christ. “There was no motorcade. There was no gaggle of press.”
It’s too bad the church removed the video from its website. Although, it may be for the best — seeing how it might have triggered the leftists who run Christianity Today.
