The American taxpayers paid more than $20 million to create an Iraqi version of Sesame Street, according to the Department of Government Efficiency.
USAID has been shut down until the Trump Administration can get a full accounting of how tens of billions of taxpayer dollars were squandered on far-left causes.
The Sesame Street spin-off show in Iraq, titled “Ahlan Simsim,” was created by USAID in an effort to promote “inclusion” and “mutual respect.”
Rep. Mike Flood (R-NE) said on my Newsmax television show that his constituents are disgusted by how their hard-earned money was being used.
“This humiliates our country,” Flood said of the millions paid to provide sex change operations in Guatemala and millions more to send fashion models and designers from Ukraine to Paris and London.
“We work way too hard for our money to send it to Washington and then ship it out so that somebody can have a sex change in Guatemala,” the congressman told me. “This is really disgusting how this money is being spent.”

As I pointed out there are thousands of military veterans who must wait weeks and months to get medical care. There’s also an epidemic of homelessness among veterans. Every dollar spent on transgender opera singers could have been spent on American veterans.
“We’re having bake sales and we’re having radio-thons to raise money to send little kids for cancer care to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis,” he said. “And yet we’re taking tax dollars for a sex change down in Guatemala. I mean, it makes no sense. The people of this country have far too long paid, far too much and gotten so little in return. That’s why this needs to happen. That’s why this process is positive. That’s why this sunshine on these issues, well, it will lead and affect change. And that’s what people want.”
